On September 27, 2007, The Museum of Chinese in the Americas hosted a party celebrating the launch of the Chinatown Film Project's YouTube Channel. The party featured numerous performers, each with a unique voice. Bodypoet Kazuma (Martial Artist/Dancer/Spoken Word Poet) With 16 years of martial arts & 10 years of dance, Kazuma contributes a fresh elixir of physical and verbal storytelling called bodypoetry. With education in Dance & Anthropology in the clubs and in academia, he became the first Japanese choreographer to enter the NYC Hip-Hop theater festival, leading to performances at the United Nations, MGM Grand Las Vegas, Tokyo, Taiwan, Ohio, DTW, BAM, The Duke on 42nd street and Nuyorican Poets Café. He teaches privately and in after school programs around NYC.
