Military Tattoo Basel 08 (Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force)

Within only a few years, the Basel Tattoo has become the place for music enthusiasts to meet, and in a matter of months all the shows are sold out. Its immense popularity is matched by an outstanding reputation, which extends far beyond the national frontier. The musically-demanding programme consists of pipebands, brass bands and folklore dancing, with top-class formations from around the world to entertain both young and old. The Basel Tattoo is the world's only tattoo to actually take place where the tattoo originated: in the ourtyard of a historical barracks. It is here that the impressive arena is especially erected each year to cater for a total of 7'500 spectators at each show. For 2008, international top-class formations have been nvited from Europe and abroad and you can look forward to international bands, massed Pipes and Drums, the unique Lone Piper, as well as the grand Finalé with all 1'000 cast members. The Tattoo guarantees a spectacular and sensational show, presenting the fi nest formations that receive one standing ovation after another.
