



Richard Jerram, chief Japan economist at Macquarie Securities Ltd., talks with Bloomberg's Bernard Lo from Tokyo about reports on Japan's September consumer prices and retail sales released today, and the outlook for Bank of Japan monetary policy. Core consumer prices, which exclude fresh food, unexpectedly slowed to 0.2 percent from a year earlier, down from 0.3 percent. Retail sales fell a seasonally adjusted 1.4 percent.
